DIY IoT Application
In order to learn about the installation process and receive initial feedback from users, we created a dynamic mobile prototype that illustrates the entire installation process. This allowed us to improve and fix the flow and bring it to the development team as a more finished product after initial validation with users.
We know that most of our clients are not tech-savvy so we wanted to create a process that would be easy to use and install. We added illustrations and animations in order to simplify the process and make it friendlier.
Live user testing with our prototype
To simplify installation, we created an all-in-one hardware kit with clear instructions. The challenge was finding packaging that could securely hold multiple small, delicate components.
After sourcing and testing suppliers, we landed on the right fit—customizing the design to ensure a smooth, user-friendly setup. Once installed, users immediately begin seeing real-time data on beer levels and revenue impact.
